How to solve the problems of geared motor on chain scraper conveyor?
1.Motor can not be started or stop running after start up .
Fault’s reasons: power supply voltage is too low,load is large,contact fault,incorrect operating procedure.
Solutions: Raise the power supply,relieve the loading,discharge some materials inside the bin,check the electrical relay and check the operating procedure .
2.Motor is over heating
Fault’s reasons : start up is too frequently; over loading rotation period is too long; poor heat radiation ,bearing is lacking in oil or be damaged.
Solutions : reduce the start up times,re-start up as soon as the failures are corrected.Relieve loading and reduce the overloading operation. Check the motor’s cooling water is smooth or not. Adjust the pressure to the required value, remove the floating coal and dirt on motors . Add oil inside bearing or replace bearings.
3.Abnormal noise from motors
Fault’s reasons : Single-phase running,wiring connection is not strong.
Solutions : check the single-phase and check the connection wires.
